Valletta Collection - Felix Apt 2

We had a wonderful nine-day stay in a simple, nicely renovated , comfortable flat in a perfectly located Valletta buildi Positive: Our little apartment was very clean, the bed (queen size) was comfortable, the linens were nice, the bathroom was modern with a nice shower, and we felt like we had privacy and quiet. The renovations were simple but lovely. The location was amazing, steps off the main streets in a completely central part of Villetta, with a grocery store and lots of sights, the bus terminus, and restaurants all nearby. Short walk from some of the ferries too. The staff was very responsive when I contacted them on the Booking app when we had an issue. Negative: When we first arrived, the electricity and internet were both not working but Chou got it taken care of while we went out for a bite to eat and it wasn’t a problem again. The apartment is on the lowest floor of an amazing 300 year old building and it was 23 steps up. They need to be up front and clear on exactly how many steps up to each apartment in the building, as we almost got an apartment that would have been up two floors and triple that number of steps, and my husband uses a cane! Our apartment, Flat 2, had.windows that open only into the small open courtyard so we really couldn’t open them as everyone could look right into our windows - and of course, there was limited light - which we were okay with, but might bother some people. Because there are no internal doors from room to room, light in any other part of the flat can keep a person who is trying to sleep awake. Small issues overall.

Straightforward stay with super location that allows you to enjoy Valletta.

This place was perfect for my week in Valetta Positive: Great location. Good size ,great air conditioning. Decent decor . Very quiet at night even though in the centre of town. Close to all the best bars and restaurants. Excellent communication from owners . Negative: The apartment I stayed in was quite dark and needed all the lights turned on as it was at the back of building with no view except looking at a roof covered in air-conditioners. Make sure you stay in one of the room rooms at the front looking over the street. At the end of Felix Street, there is a very large commercial rubbish bin that is used by the Valetta food market which in the summertime heat isn’t the best place for it.

Central and clean apartment Positive: Very central location. Big space in a traditional Maltese apartment.

Quaint & comfortable Positive: Great location - lovely comfortable apartment. Very quiet. Negative: There is no lift and even though our apartment was on the first floor we still had 20 steep stairs. Note: there were 3 floors above us - 80 steps!
