Felix Apt 3 Valletta Collection

We were grateful that we were moved to the other apartment. Positive: We booked two nights in Apartment 3 with balcony for two people. When we arrived the bathroom stank terribly. My husband found that it was coming from the shower drain. The whole flat smelled really bad. We opened all the windows and bought freshner but couldn’t get rid of it. We contacted the Host and she moved us to the bigger Apartment upstairs which luckily was available. The apartment was very comfortable. I had read about the Problem with the smell in a previous Review and have therefore decided to post as I hope others won‘t have this problem. Negative: The location is very central in Valetta, but is behind the food market so if you open the windows there is a smell of cooking all the time. Loud at night.

Nice apartment in a great location Positive: Loved the location, as everything was on our doorstep. There is a very well stocked supermarket on the lower level of the foodhall which is directly opposite the apartment. The apartments building is really lovely once through the door with fab stone stairs (no lift). The apartment we had, no 3, was on the first floor and had a Juliette balcony looking out to Felix St. The noise level from the street was tolerable and more reduced in the bedroom which also had a window. It was quite nice opening the balcony doors sometimes just to listen to the day to day hubbub going on below. The kitchen was fully equipped should you wish to cook . Dishwasher and washer dryer was also available. The bed was very comfortable. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board all available. Plenty of hot water to shower and the shower had good water pressure. Chou, the host, was charming and very helpful on arrival and quick to respond via WhatsApp if we had any queries during our stay. Should you have time to watch tv, all the channels are there but you will need a vpn before logging into your accounts if you are from abroad. Youtube was no problem. Negative: These are the negatives for us but not necessarily for others and wouldn't stop us from returning. Overall it was perfectly adequate for our week's stay. Lack of proper shelving in the bathroom which was quite small. So majority of toiletries, other than shower, shampoo and toothpaste were kept on a cabinet in the lounge (this is more for the ladies than men). The sofa which was a sofa bed wasn't very comfortable to sit on. Lack of drawers in the bedroom.

We had a lovely stay and would definitely choose it again Positive: Excellent location, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Negative: It would be even better with a more comfortable mattress and better soundproofing

Very good location, nice and modern accommodation. Easy access to shops and restaurants.
